A randomised controlled trial of the PelvicToner Device in female stress urinary incontinence
- Pelvic floor muscle training (PFME) is first line treatment for female urinary incontinence, requiring a regime of regular voluntary pelvic floor contractions without resistance. The PelvicToner device (PTD) is an approach to PFME, enhancing pelvic floor strengthening and endurance by offering intravaginal resistance. The objective of this study was to compare standard PFME with PFME using the PTD.
